Automated Flexible Conveyor (AFC) designs and manufactures flexible screw conveyors and companion powder handling equipment to automatically transfer, load, weigh, and unload powders, pellets, granules, mixtures, and other dry, bulk materials fast, gently, and safely. The proprietary SPIRALFEEDER(TM) flexible screw conveyor automatically transfers bulk materials via a custom screw conveyor from a hopper at floor level through an enclosed plastic tube up to discharge into a surge hopper, feeder, mixer, tank, or other equipment. Our expert engineering and premium quality manufacturing assure smooth, efficient, reliable flow even when transferring flow-resistant, semi-free flowing, and other challenging materials. These screw conveying systems can be quickly disassembled for cleaning and returned to service in minutes.

The precision-manufactured flexible screw conveyors are offered in stainless steel and carbon steel with continuous welds, polished surface finishes, and proprietary coatings to solve the toughest powder handling applications. Screw design configurations are offered with either round, flat, or the company's proprietary knife edge spiral types as standard, plus in custom designs based on the material properties, targeted throughput and other objectives. Portable flexible screw conveyor models set the bulk material handling system on a rugged steel frame atop durable casters for easy movement from one location to another.

AFC also designs and manufactures bulk bag unloaders, bulk bag fillers, sack tipping stations, and other powder processing equipment in standard and custom configurations for any powder and bulk solids material handling application.
